DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
RAMP Globaltec has a significant Product Design and Development capability for multiple markets and materials.
For Plastic parts we work closely with Due Emme, Italy and can offer bespoke product design with exclusive tooling arrangements when required. RAMP Globaltec work closely with all parties to support the process from the idea to the initial concept, through 3D CAD design, prototyping, tooling, production and finally testing.

We also develop Tactical Metal Parts to precise customer design requirements for numerous applications, managing the project from concept through to tooling and supply.
For bespoke assemblies we will work together with our customers to arrive to the best combination of Component, Webbing and Assembly method to give our customers the most effective Product they can find at the most economic price.
From a buckle or button, to a full Military component or complete webbing assembly, in Plastic, Metal or Fabric, Ramp Globaltec will support you from start to finish.
Injection Moulding
From Design to Production
Injection moulding is at the heart of producing many of RAMP's high-performance plastic components.
Our design and development process considers manufacturability from the outset, helping transform initial concepts and prototypes into reliable, production-ready components.
Working with a range of engineering-grade polymers, materials can be selected according to the specific demands of each application — from strength and impact resistance to weight, temperature, chemical exposure and environmental performance.
Designed for the Application
Material selection and component geometry play a crucial role in the performance of an injection-moulded product. RAMP works with customers to develop solutions around the requirements of their application, including:
-
Material selection – including Nylon, Acetal and other engineering polymers
-
Design for manufacture – optimising component geometry for efficient and repeatable production
-
Tooling development – progressing approved designs towards production
-
Prototyping & evaluation – assessing concepts before committing to manufacture
-
Performance requirements – considering strength, durability and environmental demands
-
Production scalability – developing solutions with repeatable manufacture in mind
From an initial idea to a finished moulded component, our aim is to combine intelligent design, appropriate material selection and manufacturing expertise to create products built for demanding applications.
